JPG to PDF Converter
Combine JPG photos and scans into one PDF that is small enough to send. Free and private.
Why convert JPG to PDF?
Forms, landlords, schools and employers often ask for documents as a single PDF rather than a set of photos. Combining your JPGs into one PDF keeps the pages together and in order, and opens the same way on every phone and computer.
Smushify fits each JPG to its page at print resolution, so photos taken on a phone do not turn the PDF into a 50 MB attachment.
How to convert JPG to PDF
Add your JPG files, arrange them in the order you want, pick A4 or Letter, and click Build PDF. The Document preset suits scanned paperwork; use Greyscale for black-and-white pages to make the file even smaller.
Frequently asked questions
Can I put several JPGs into one PDF?
Yes. Every image becomes its own page, in the order shown in the PDF panel, and you can move pages up or down before building.
Why are PDFs from my phone so big?
Phones often put every photo into the PDF at full resolution. A 12-megapixel photo has several times more pixels than a printed page can show, so each page can be several megabytes. Smushify resizes each image to the page at print resolution first.
Can I sign the PDF or add text to it?
Smushify makes the PDF; to sign it, fill it in or add text, open it in SecureSignFree (securesignfree.com), our free PDF signing site.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. Smushify converts everything inside your browser using WebAssembly. Your files are never sent to a server, so it is safe for private photos, client work and unreleased videos.
